backlight dim screen
| Has the light gone out on your laptop? . One of the most common calls we
receive is for backlight problems. You may look at your screen and it looks
as if the light has gone out, but you can still see the image. Sometimes you
have to look very carefully at the screen, you may just detect a faint
image. Backlight problem? What causes an inverter to fail? Inverters get
very hot inverters often die in hot countries so there are few problems over
here !!. Some feel their screen needs to be changed but its not your screen
don't worry its not your screen its just your inverter. When you plug an
external monitor to the back of your laptop you will see a perfect screen
displayed externally. ( hopefully your onboard graphics card is not broken
or damaged.) On an inverter is a small fuse always check this first because
sometimes this blows and you need to replace it. Has your backlight suddenly
gone out ? Has the tube just died?. The chances are the backlight is working
perfectly but your inverter is not working correctly. Backlights rarely have
problems, Inverters just die quite often. In some cases your tube may need
replacing. So thats how dim screen problems are resolved. |
